Meet Jade Terry – Expert in Veterinary Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation
With over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field, Jade Terry began her career as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in a small animal hospital, where she discovered her passion for orthopaedics and neurology. Her journey led her to a specialist orthopaedic and neurology referral centre, where she deepened her expertise in canine rehabilitation, surgical care, and diagnostic case management.
Now a qualified veterinary physiotherapist, Jade has treated a wide variety of patients, continually enhancing her skills to deliver exceptional care. Inspired by the life-changing benefits of physiotherapy, she turned her focus to education and is now Course Director at ARU Writtle, where she teaches and supports both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Her involvement in education not only allows her to inspire future veterinary physiotherapists but also keeps her at the forefront of the profession—regularly engaging with the latest research and evidence-based treatment techniques to ensure her practice remains effective.
She also holds a postgraduate teaching certificate and a Level 3 qualification in Hydrotherapy, further enriching her rehabilitation approach. Jade is a proud member of the RAMP register, a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
In addition to her academic role, Jade runs EQuiK9, offering compassionate, expert rehabilitation services for dogs and horses across West Sussex and Surrey. With a calm, understanding approach, she works closely with clients to guide them and their animals through every step of their rehabilitation and physiotherapy journey.
